In this dynamic, hands-on 3-part series, participants will explore the ten critical “P’s” that make or break project success: People, Problems, Planning, Priorities, Pivots, Politics, Pressure, Patience, Pushback, and Performance. Designed for team leaders, project managers, and municipal professionals, this program moves beyond technical project steps to address the real-world challenges of managing teams, adapting to change, and delivering results.

Each session builds leadership, communication, and decision-making confidence through practical tools, activities, and guided discussion. You’ll walk away with a strategic plan, a toolkit of templates, and the confidence to lead projects with clarity and conviction.

Session One: The People and The Problem - team dynamics, stakeholder mapping, root cause analysis, building psychological safety and collaboration and conflict resolution followed by Planning With Purpose - SMART goals and project scope, timeline, milestones, contingency planning, risk assessment and resource alignment

Session Two: Politics and Pushback - navigating internal power structure, handling turf wars/office politics, resistance and focus followed by Pressure and Patience - managing pressure with emotional intelligence, making clear decisions under stress, patience in a fast-moving environment

Session Three: Priorities and Pivots - reprioritizing and adapting, agile responses, communicating pivot decisions with clarity followed by Performance and Project Wrap-up - Performance KPIs, accountability and team feedback, lessons learned and sustainable strategy
