The focus of WIC Week is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry. Since its first year, it has evolved into a nation-wide initiative that thousands of people recognize and celebrate. Each year, chapters and companies across the country recognize the event through raising awareness about the opportunities in construction, learning about the barriers still in place for women in male-populated industries, and giving back to their communities.
