Understanding The Sovereign Citizen (online)

The sovereign citizen is a political movement from the belief that the government abuses power. The basic ideology is that all existing government in the United States is illegitimate. How does that affect inspectors and other governmental representatives? Through a variety of actions including “paper terrorism” harassment and intimidation, and unfortunately, more aggressive tactics including violence.

Knowledge is key when it comes to interacting with a sovereign citizen. We will discuss their history, their presence in our communities, paper terrorism, liens, frivolous lawsuits, and other actions used to harass governmental officials.
